Camping in the Outback

I have found it interesting how the Aussies camp compared to the way do in Canada. You definitely do not see the giant campers that are so common back home. The locals seem to thrive on smaller mobile units that can get to areas (the outback) that the average Canadian camper would never go. I have attached a couple pictures for your perusal. Also, as the pictures will hopefully show the campgrounds are often on the red soil that is so prevalent in this area. Personally I find it quite disgusting. You will see tents on this God forsaken dirt, the kids playing, beach volleyball, etc.
